Bremen players involved in dressing room bust-up
BERLIN (AFP) — Werder Bremen's director of sport Klaus Allofs confirmed on Wednesday there was a dressing-room bust up between team-mates Diego and Aaron Hunt after last week's UEFA Cup defeat at Rangers.
Midfielder Diego, currently serving a three-match ban for lashing out at an Eintracht Frankfurt defender last month, clashed with striker Hunt after the German side were humbled 2-0 in Scotland last Thursday.
"There was a brawl between Diego and Aaron Hunt after the game," Allofs told German agency SID with the replay set for Thursday night in Bremen.
"The matter has been dealt with internally.
"I do not know of a player who never had an argument with his team-mates."
