ATLANTA (AFP) — The Atlanta Falcons sent cornerback DeAngelo Hall to the Oakland Raiders for a second-round pick in April's draft and a fifth-round selection in 2009, completing a much talked-about mega-deal.
Hall signed a seven-year contract with Oakland that reportedly is worth between 67 million dollars to 70 million dollars.
Hall, 24, was in the last year of his current deal and made it very clear he wanted out of Atlanta.
The eighth overall pick of the 2004 draft, Hall had five interceptions and 70 tackles last season. He has 17 career interceptions in four seasons with Atlanta.
