PRAGUE (AFP) — Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek announced Wednesday that the Czech government had approved the main accord on the deployment of a US anti-missile radar in the country, the CTK news agency reported.
The agreement must now be approved by parliament along with an accord covering the conditions for US forces to be based in the Czech Republic, CTK cited Topolanek as saying after a cabinet meeting in the northwestern town of Teplice.
